On April 15, 2025, ​​an official reception was held, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the State of Kuwait in Kuwait City with the participation of the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Ismatullo Nasredin and Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait for Asia Affairs Sameeh Essa Johar Hayat.

In his speech, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan noted that “for three decades, fraternal relations between Tajikistan and Kuwait have witnessed steady development based on mutual respect, mutually beneficial cooperation and joint efforts to strengthen peace and stability in the region and around the world”.

It was emphasized that the exchange of visits at various levels, including high-level political dialogue within the framework of the visits of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation Honourable Emomali Rahmon to the State of Kuwait, in particular the negotiations with the Amir of the State of Kuwait His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, significantly contributes to the expansion of relations covering various areas of mutual interest.

This event was attended by heads of diplomatic missions, representatives of the ministries and agencies, the private sector, travel companies and officials from trade and investment circles, activists of social networks, Tajiks abroad, students and representatives of the mass media.
