Asfa Holding Board Chairman, Philanthropist and Businessman Asaf Atasoy, published a message on the occasion of May 3rd Turkism Day.

Asfa Holding Board Chairman Asaf Atasoy included the following statements in his message;

Turk means courage, Turk means compassion, Turk means a nation with one heart.

As the Great Leader Atatürk said, ”Turkism is like a flag, just like the Turkish flag. It is the first and national duty of every Turk to wave this flag in every corner of the homeland.”

The only and most important ideal of the Turks is Turkism. Because Turkism is a sacred belief born from the Turkish national spirit and conscience without any foreign influence. It is based on love of nation and homeland. The real goal of every Turk is to ensure that the Turkish nation lives forever in unity and prosperity, stronger and independent from all other nations.

Every individual who says I am a Turk and carries this thought sincerely in their heart is a Turk. In fact, it is not enough to be born a Turk to be a Turk, it is necessary to feel like a Turk, live like a Turk, and work and have will like a Turk.
Thank God, we are a nation that is proud of our history. Turk means many things to everyone, whether friend or foe. Those who are crushed under the fist of a Turk and those who are wrapped in his compassion always have the same idea. In our history, we have shown all nations how to be a Turk with both our intelligence and our endless courage.

With these thoughts, I celebrate May 3rd Turkism Day and remember with mercy and gratitude our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for our homeland and nation without hesitation, both in our history and today.
