Asfa Holding Chairman of the Board of Directors, philanthropist and businessman Asaf Atasoy, issued a congratulatory message on the 51st anniversary of the Cyprus Peace Operation, which took place on July 20, 1974.

Asfa Holding Chairman of the Board of Directors, Asaf Atasoy, included the following statements in his message;

We are all experiencing the justified pride of the 51st anniversary of the Cyprus Peace Operation, which was carried out on July 20, 1974, by the heroic Turkish Armed Forces, who carried out very important activities as the defender of peace and stability in the world and in our region.

The Cyprus Peace Operation is the name of the rebirth and revival of a people who were sought to be erased from history, and the clear evidence that once again showed the whole world, after the War of Independence, what the Turks can afford when their fundamental rights are violated, their freedom is threatened, and their existence and survival are threatened.

With the Cyprus Peace Operation carried out by the heroic Turkish Armed Forces on July 20, 1974, the aid of our Cypriot compatriots was provided, the borders of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus were drawn, its existence was established on solid foundations and its rights and freedoms were re-established.

On this occasion, I remember with mercy and gratitude our cherished martyrs who unhesitatingly drank the sherbet of martyrdom in the Cyprus Peace Operation, which was carried out to ensure the freedom and independence of our compatriots and to bring peace back to Cyprus. I respectfully commemorate our veterans entrusted to us, and wholeheartedly congratulate the ‘July 20 Peace and Freedom Day’ of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
