Asfa Holding Board Chairman, Philanthropist and Businessman Asaf Atasoy, published a message on the occasion of the 157th anniversary of the establishment of the Turkish Red Crescent.

Asfa Holding Board Chairman Asaf Atasoy included the following statements in his message;

The Turkish Red Crescent, which was born out of a desire to help soldiers who were injured or became ill on the battlefield without discrimination, has become one of the most respected aid organizations in the world with its selfless and effective services since 1868.

The Turkish Red Crescent, an institution where our nation’s feelings of charity, mercy, compassion and solidarity are put into practice, is the hope of the oppressed in our country and around the world and the helping hand that extends to the victims.

The Turkish Red Crescent, which stands by all those in need without discrimination and heals the wounds caused by the negative effects of war and natural disasters, will continue to represent our country in the best way possible and contribute to world peace.

I believe that the Turkish Red Crescent, which grows and develops every day, renews itself and continues its activities with the understanding of providing the best service to those in need, will continue its work successfully. Let us donate to the Red Crescent as much as our financial means allow, and if our health condition is suitable for donating blood, let us donate blood to the Red Crescent Blood Donation Points.

On this occasion, I congratulate the 157th anniversary of the establishment of the Turkish Red Crescent, which is a manifestation of our culture of cooperation and solidarity and the benevolence of the Turkish Nation.
